Silverlake Scent Club is a social smelling series by artist Megan Lindeman. Each gathering is shaped by local aromatic wonder—wild plants, city air, weather, raw materials of the vernacular, and the unexpected scents that define a place. Through guided smelling, conversation, and shared attention, participants explore scent as a social practice. Always rooted in multi-sensory inquiry and communal curiosity, Silverlake Scent Club offers a space to slow down, notice, and smell together. This is social smelling.
Join us at Granada as we explore the scent profile of Carroll Avenue, its Victorian houses, sun-warmed gardens, and the aromatic traces that make this historic street unique.

Join us at Granada for Modern Kintsugi Workshop with Emi from The Kintsugi Room, where broken ceramics become something striking and new. You will learn the basics of this contemporary take on the traditional Japanese art of repair, using gold-toned materials to highlight cracks and transforms chips, breaks, and imperfections into part of the story. It is hands-on, relaxed, and a little magical, perfect if you want to make something beautiful while trying something different.
Expect a warm, social atmosphere with plenty of guidance, satisfying detail work, and that great feeling of bringing a once-broken piece back to life. Whether you come with a friend or on your own, you will leave with new skills, a finished piece, and a fresh appreciation for the beauty of repair.
All supplies are included. Please bring reading glasses if you need them for close-up work.
